The first Bleach movie, Memories of Nobody, will be in theaters June 11th and 12th. Article here. Yes, it will be the awful dub. But Bleach on the big screen. :D
Who wants to cosplay mob it, if there's a location near here? There's got to be, we're in the Orlando area, but...
Let's play? Jos? Jason? Laura? Lisa? :D

This whole post, summarized in case you don't feel like reading much: MegaCon = WOOHOO! Super Smash Brothers Brawl = WOOHOO! Pictures = this afternoon.
Picture spam to follow this afternoon in another post. I was going to shift pictures from camera to computer while at work, since it happens in the background and means I can work on appropriate stuffs while that happens, but the work dock blocks the USB ports, so that will happen later.
Mo, if you're reading this, I looked everywhere for you, and asked so many Axels if they were/knew a Mo. (One even got asked three times, whoops. Twice by me, once by a bunch of friends who was trying to help. Only because she was carrying a gigantic yaoi paddle later did I recognize her and not ask again. Poor harassed Axels... but they all started to look alike at the end there.)
( And now for the in-depth stuff that may wind up long enough to kill an f-list or five: )
And that was a relatively short summary of my exhausting (but very good) weekend.

While the ending to Kenpachi vs. Nnoitra was anticlimactic, at least the right person won. That made it satisfying enough. And the battle was indeed cool... it's fun to see him enjoying a fight. Exact opposite of Ichigo.
Kenpachi: I got knocked back? AWESOME! I can do other stuff!
Ichigo: I got knocked back! Woe is me! I am not strong enough to protect those I love!
But now? ( SPOILERS for 313 )

This morning there was a sign put on the front doors with a grammatical error.
Just went by it, it has already been edited. Twice.
I don't feel quite so odd, hee.
Edited to add: Someone accidentally printed out something in wingdings (symbols) on the printer. One of my coworkers was apparently as bored as I am, and started it through editing. I got to use my 'No smileys in articles!" rant. Hee. Now it's going around the office. :D
Also, I wote a very fluffy, G-rated Hanatarou/Hinamori piece. This is likely my muse striking back because of writing too much Kenpachi. That and the fact that Mishima Kenpachi is very, very moody at the moment. It can be found on Bleach_het.
And the third entry in the Drabble Challenge: ( Ricochet )
Niggsy's icon for this prompt is here.

So with this LJ Switch program, how do I add a new username? I got accepted as Zaraki Kenpachi to
mishima_miasma last night, but the program is only letting me log on as Nadat and my silly Kenpachi RP account.
Yes. Kenpachi. Please to not be asking why my muse keeps deciding to work with him, because I does not have an answer. First Capslock_Bleach, now Mishima.

2. The last four words of the very last quote is the title of your album.
3. The third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4. Use your graphics program of choice to throw them together, and post it in your own journal.

(Band name is Joan Warner, album title is End of the Gun.)

I can't remember how to spell proportions. So you get 'size' instead.
niggsyisabore and I are starting a 100-prompt challenge: her with icons, me with drabbles.
( The first prompt is Snake Eyes )
________________________________________ ____________________________________
Also on the topic of drabbles, I hit chapter 100 on my fanfiction.net story and celebrated with a set of 14 - an intro one and one on each of the 13 fukataichous in The Fukataichou's Badge, similar to the set of 16 I did, one on each taichou I did for my 50th chapter, The Captain's Haori.

Normally, the picture book/Arrancar Research Times are attached to the ends of episodes, and easy to find. This time, I cannot seem to find any sources with the Quincy Research Time. I'm guessing this is probably because of the subtext I've heard about. Does anyone have a link to it? Or know where it can be found?
Thanks. :D
ETA: Found it! In case you're curious, it's here.
And since everyone is doing it... hee:

The first drabble I wrote a couple of days ago. Niggsy won a bet with me tonight, and I'd bet a drabble, so she requested a sequel to this first one. Both are Kenpachi-centric, rated G, with spoilers up to chapter 297 of the manga.

In the spoilers for the next manga chapter, a very familiar character ( named behind this cut ) shows up.
It seems too good to be true. After so much waiting...
Anyways,
niggsyisabore and I have made a bet. If this character is an illusion/hallucination/in any way not really that character, she owes me 5 custom icons. If it really is them, I owe her a drabble of her choice.
I win either way, I think. If it's real, that plot will rock. If it's not, I get icons. Heehee. We shall see... I can't wait to find out, though.
Update on the bet: It looks like it's real! That character's zanpakutou appears to be blocking an attack. Be looking for a drabble soon, hee. But EEE! YAY!!!

We had our last ceramics class last night, and we glazed our pieces to be fired again.
My coil sake bottle is going to be turquoise with the kanji for 'spirit' in white puffy-glaze. Should be pretty. I picked that symbol for two reasons: one - I hope someday to have a chance to do more coil work, and make four matching glasses that say earth, air, water, and fire, and two - the pun amused me. Spirits, sake, yeah. I have a lame sense of humor.
My bento tray survived, and is going to be speckle-brown with rust edging. Shall see how that turns out.
My pinch-pot will be a dark blue with green and white speckles.
My wheel pot was not dry enough to be fired, so it will be fired and not glazed. That's all right, I can always paint it or something later. It's as nice looking as I remembered it. I'm still surprised that it came out pretty.
Switching tacks... I called Hana's moves funny the other day. They're not against Kenpachi. I defeated the first seven opponents in Hanatarou's chapter without dying. And then I died on Kenpachi. FIFTEEN TIMES. I can't seem to get him lower than half-health unless we do the rock-paper-scissors thing. Zaraki is a freaking tank, and Hana... yeah. I end up healing Kenpachi, too. I'll beat that chapter, but I need to figure out how.

First of all, the good points:
1. Kenpachi is tough. While I don't like dying, I can accept dying on him during story mode. And when he's in Bankai mode (takes off eyepatch) he can squish freaking EVERYTHING.
2. The movements are intuitive. I admit, there are still times when I'm hitting the A button wondering why Hitsugaya is just staring at his opponent, but then I remember to swing too.
3. The chapters are excellently sized. It can take 10 to 20 minutes to defeat a Chapter/Episode, depending solely on how many times you die on Kenpachi. Oops. This means you can speed through a chapter on, say, a lunch break. ;) This lunch break, I intend to crush everyone as Zaraki...
4. I've beaten the first three chapters so far: Ichigo, Renji, and Hitsugaya. Renji and Ichigo's storylines are believable, as the two of them are not the brightest bulbs.
5. Hanatarou attacks by ROLLING, since his Zanpakutou heals. Funniest (and most surprising) attack yet. "What the... he fell over? Wait! Ouch!"
(Edited to add) Two funniest moments of the game so far:
A) Byakuya posing and telling Ichigo he will punish him. I was just waiting for him to pull out a wand and yell "Cherry Blossom MAKE-UP!"
B) Hitsugaya vs. Shunsui - Hitsugaya tells Shunsui to give Hitsugaya the shards, and Shunsui can punish him however later. I don't know how safe it is to tell Kyouraku Shunsui that, to be honest...
Not as good:
1. Yes, you're an English voice actor. But that is no excuse for completely mispronouncing stuff. Zangetsu may look like it has three syllables, but it has two. I promise. And Soukyoku has two also, not four.
2. Hitsugaya is not stupid. Shunsui is not going to ignore someone and fight solely on orders from Yamamoto, regardless of what the other person is trying to do. Kubo wrote this. Why is he not keeping them in character?
3. Orihime's shirt is apparently stuffed with jello. It doesn't stop moving, even when she does. I get it, she's buxom. But... come on.
All in all, it's good. I wish the voice acting was half as decent as the Japanese version, and I wish there was logic behind some of this stuff.
My left thumb and right arm are a little sore today. I wonder why. ;)

So the Bleach Mob painted Orlando a lovely shade of Man-genta yesterday. Apparently, that is a color, or so Jashin insists. Because his car isn't magenta. No. ;)
Nanaosa and I got to where we met early, because I'm slightly obsessive about being early. I had not been aware until late Friday night that there was a game going on at UCF on Saturday, which meant the campus was full of already-drunk people, cops, and odd traffic-readjustments.
I started getting worried at noon when no one else was there. I called Laurahime, and was assured that she, Taiskia, and Yachiren were on their way. That made me feel a bit better. Then Jashin showed up, and I realized that it wasn't people forgetting, it was people being Floridian. One day I will get used to this. Maybe.
Laurahime, Taiskia, and Yachiren demonstrated a dance. They did not let anyone record it, alas.
Ended up meeting the other part of our group, Joshigo and Kuukawn(? I dunno how to blend her name...) at the anime store before we went to a nearby Vietnamese restaurant for lunch. The food was awesome. The mango smoothies... so yummy. We were a little loud. Nanaosa looked like she wanted a whole arm-load of flower-filled hats to throw at people.
We ordered food by numbers, since none of us except Taiskia could order the food by name without potentially saying something quite rude. All of us had regular numbers... except for Jashin, who ordered the 110A. Joshigo teased him about being special, and started calling him old.
It didn't help that someone (FawnKuukaku, I think) misheard the name of the Hoisin sauce as Poison Sauce, and that apparently Fish Sauce tastes good but smells horrible. A dented Appliance Direct truck started a whole lot of Appliance Direct jokes "White Porcelain!" "You paid too much!" that continued from then until we got to Sears.
Got a live-action Death Note movie at the comic book store in the mall. FawnKuukaku got the same thing. Taiskia said something about it being Part One... I hope it's a complete movie. I'll probably have time to give it a watch Tuesday.
We headed back to the UCF campus. Nanaosa has better parking-fu than anyone, apparently, as we parked within eyesight of our destination while Jashin and Joshigo parked their cars rather far away. We had pizza while the people good at Guitar Hero played on expert, others talked, and I played Bleach Heat The Soul, since Jashin had brought his PSP and that game. It's quite fun.
Alas, neither of Kisuke's bonus outfits are his Shinigami robes... no, they're pimp outfits. They're amusing, though. It's interesting who the game has and does not have... I mean, it's got all four plushie mod-souls, but not Omaeda or Sasakibe. The Bleach Wii game comes out October 10th. It is most likely dubbed, which will not be nice, but it will be in the US, playable on our US Wiis. I need to remember to find out and exchange my friendscode with peoples...
Anyways. I would declare the outing a success. Eight BleachMob people showed up (two of them being new) and I think everyone had fun. :D
Ah, forgot the silly people as we walked back to the car... Nanaosa and I were leaving, Jashin was being our manly-man escort (and coming to borrow the Bleach Musical DVDs), and Laurahime came along so Jashin could get back into the building. The football game had been over for almost four hours. We walked by a group of four that was slowly packing everything up. The guy who seemed to be somewhat in charge said "Great teamwork, guys!" because they were almost done. I waited until we were a little bit farther to say "Yeah! Awesome teamwork. The game's only been done for five hours, and we're almost ready to leave!" We walked past more drunk people who weren't even trying to pack up, and I commented that they apparently had no teamwork. :D
And someone at the Vietnamese restaurant commented that we are all a bit like our chosen characters. It's true, and fun.

It appears that there will be another Bleach Rock Musical in March next year. http://community.livejournal.com/burimy u/85395.html
For fear of breaking my exclamation mark key, I am staying calm. All the same, I think I will be telling my family that for Christmas and birthday they can just give cash... I need a plane ticket to Japan and tickets to the show. If, IF, it's showing on my birthday, that's the beginning of March. I can possibly be clever and combine my visit to Meghan in China in February with the trip to Japan.... Of course, a blonde trying to be clever is not the safest thing. But it would be so much more than awesome.

Spoilers for Soul Society arc.
If anyone is worried about the trio being bored in Hueco Mundo, they need not fear.
Most awesome Boy Band ever. :D
Edited to add:
1) When the two snap into that bow, acknowledging that they're powerful, but Aizen is over them... I wish we could get more of that dynamic in the manga/anime.
2) Before the song, the line that Gin says just before Aizen smiles is to ask Aizen to say "I won't betray you." Then Aizen smiles, and Gin says "that man is scary." Hee. Of course, now I'm left wondering about that possibility.
